The Renwick Gallery is located steps from the White House in the heart of historic federal Washington. The closest Metro stations are Farragut West (Orange line) and Farragut North (Red line). Barrier-free access is available at the 17th Street entrance.
There is limited on-street parking at meters; several paid parking garages are available in the neighborhood.
Strollers currently are not permitted in the galleries on Friday, Saturday and Sunday; holidays; and at other times when the galleries are especially crowded. Stroller parking is available at the 17th Street accessible entrance. This is a temporary measure to protect the artworks when the galleries are crowded.
A changing table is available in the accessible restroom stall on each floor.
